Creation of the National Fund System of the State Library of the State Culture Center of Turkmenistan, collection of data, construction of the system's electronic database and data exchange, the scientific processing of press works and their reflection in the electronic catalog, alphabetical and departmental catalogs, compilation and uploading of bibliographic comments in the electronic catalog, all departments of the library monitors, checks, and corrects errors in all information provided.

New books arriving at the library are categorized and systematized according to the universal decimal tables, and the cards are placed in the appropriate catalogs. Newly arrived books and abstracts are also technically processed, that is, forms are filled out, pasted onto a folder and submitted to the book depository, group publications are processed separately and stored in the department's sub-fund.

The people responsible for the electronic catalog train, advise, and hold consultations with employees at the Elib software training center on data upload procedures.

From time to time, the reader performs the editorial work of the alphabetic, departmental and service alphabetic catalogs, checking the order of the shelves, the placement and condition of the cards inside.
